Beth Bradford, a Hancock
native, works with organizations such as UNICEF
and Save the Children around the world
to support the development of child protection systems for preventing and
responding to harm and supporting families to raise healthy children. Beth’s
work involves travel to Eastern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. It started years
ago when she lived and worked in Romania from 1994-2002. Come learn more about
the needs of children and families around the world, hear about the purpose and
approaches behind Beth’s work, and explore some of the cultural and political
differences that bring success and challenges. Free and open to all.
